Länsstyrelsen inför eldningsförbud i Västerbottens län

På grund av mycket stor eller extremt stor brandrisk i skog och mark har Länsstyrelsen fattat beslut om eldningsförbud inom hela Västerbottens län. 

Förbudet gäller från och med 17 juli och tills vidare - tills Länsstyrelsen meddelar att förbudet har upphört.

Håll koll på brandrisken genom appen Brandrisk ute och följ de råd som 1177.se rekommenderar till allmänheten gällande skydd mot värme och uttorkning.

 

Det är förbjudet:

• Att elda och grilla utomhus i skog och mark eller i områden som ligger så nära skog att elden lätt kan spridas dit. Du får inte använda brännbart material till exempel ved, kol, briketter, gräs, ris eller grenar för att elda eller grilla.

Det är tillåtet:

• Att grilla på din egen trädgårdstomt, på innergårdar och gårdar till flerbostadshus. Det gäller bara i områden där hus och byggnader ligger intill varandra eller bara skiljs åt av en väg, gata eller parkmark.
• Att grilla vid fasta iordningsställda grillplatser. En fast grillplats är en plats som är byggd för grillning och är avgränsad med till exempel betongrör eller sten. Runt den ska det också finnas en bred markyta med grus eller annat brandsäkert material.
• Att använda campingkök, stormkök och liknande om de placeras på eldsäkert underlag som sten, grus eller sand.

 

Det är du som bär ansvar om du startar en brand. Du kan dömas till böter om du bryter mot eldningsförbudet. Du ansvarar för att hålla dig uppdaterad om vad som gäller på platsen där du befinner dig och om läget förändras. Due to very high or extremely high fire risk in forests and land, the County Administrative Board has decided to ban burning throughout Västerbotten County. The ban applies from 17 July and until further notice - until the County Administrative Board announces that the ban has ended. Keep track of the fire risk through the app Brandrisk ute and follow the advice that 1177.se recommends to the public regarding protection against heat and dehydration.

It is prohibited to:

• Make fires and grill outdoors in forests and land or in areas that are so close to forests that the fire can easily spread there. You may not use flammable materials such as wood, charcoal, briquettes, grass, rice or branches to make fires or grill.

 

It is permitted to:

• Make grills in your own garden plot, in courtyards and yards of apartment buildings. This only applies in areas where houses and buildings are next to each other or are only separated by a road, street or parkland.

• Make grills at permanent barbecue areas. A permanent barbecue area is a place that is built for grilling and is delimited with, for example, concrete pipes or stones. There must also be a wide area of ground around it with gravel or other fireproof material.

• Use camping stoves, emergency stoves and the like if they are placed on a fireproof surface such as stone, gravel or sand.

 

You are responsible if you start a fire. You can be fined if you violate the fire ban. You are responsible for staying up to date on what applies where you are and if the situation changes.
