At Stenbergska District Health Centre you can meet a doctor, a district nurse, an occupational therapist, a physiotherapist, a midwife or a social welfare officer.
Here there is also a youth reception.
The National Dental Service is also located to Stenbergska. Here is also preventive dental care carried out.

Child Daycare/Education/Studies
In Lycksele we have child daycare in various forms.
There are pre-schools and family daycare nurseries as well as leisure-time centres.
We also have education for all ages.
Of course, there are schools within the compulsory school system (forms 1-9) as well as leisure-time centres for school children and remedial schools.
Our upper secondary school, Tannbergsskolan, runs many educational programmes, including sports programmes and driving instructor education. Tannbergsskolan is one of the largest schools in the county and attracts students from about 30 municipalities in Sweden.
Here in Lycksele there are also opportunities for adult education and university studies.
